Inspiring brand film | Elpress

How do you make hygiene in food production an inspiring story? That was the challenge that Elpress presented to us. They wanted more than just a corporate movie. They were looking for something meaningful. Something that touches. And it all started with one simple question: Why?

The question

Our collaboration with Elpress started with a WHY Reveal session. The goal was to uncover the core motivation behind everything they do. The result? A powerful brand base that not only guided their marketing, but also connected the team and strengthened relationships with customers.

Express WHY:

To give people the peace of mind that comes with knowing their food is produced in a safe and clean environment so they can live their lives to the fullest.

A strong brand base is essential. It acts as a guide for every decision an organization makes. It creates a clear identity, aligns internal teams and ensures consistent communication. But more importantly, it builds trust and credibility, making it easier to touch both employees and customers at a deeper level. By getting their WHY in focus, Elpress was able to express not only what they do, but especially why it matters.

The process

From strategy to storytelling

With a clear WHY in my pocket, it was time to translate this into a brand movie. But not just any brand movie. Elpress was clear: they didn't want a standard corporate video. They were looking for something unexpected. Something that creates awareness without becoming technical or scary.

The concept: The Curious Cookie

We explored three different creative directions, each with its own perspective. The final choice? A story told through a child's eyes.

The film follows a curious girl who constantly asks her father questions. Until one day she asks a question that lingers:

“Why does everyone take it for granted that the food we buy is hygienic?”

This innocent but powerful question is at the heart of the film. Instead of focusing on the problem, we took an optimistic approach. We showed what invisible efforts are made daily to ensure food safety, made possible by Elpress.

Racing against nature

With autumn approaching, the production literally became a race against nature. We needed an outdoor location with plenty of color in the trees. After careful location exploration, we were able to capture the perfect park at the right time. The film makes a visual transition from an intimate father-daughter moment in the park to a cinematic view in a cookie factory, where Elpress machines hygienically ensure every step of the production process. This seamless transition between personal storytelling and industrial expertise makes the film both recognisable and powerful.

The result

The final brand film combines imagination and insight and shows Elpress's core values through a child's curious eyes. The film invites viewers to reflect on the invisible processes that keep our food safe, while reinforcing Elpress' mission: providing peace of mind, cookie by cookie.
